this machine is a workhorse. have over 50hrs on it now. excavated and moved more than 50yds of rocky soil, thumb is capable for grabbing larger rocks, as well as spread over 20yds of material with blade. have thrown right side track a few times. oil plug access good, easy to change. did change out the needle zercs. at this point, well on its way to paying for itself. no so fast.

I’ve been using the TYPHON Terror XVIII on my small farm for about three months now, and I’m blown away by how much work this little beast can handle. The Kubota D902 engine is smooth and surprisingly quiet, and the hydraulic thumb has been a lifesaver for grabbing logs and rocks. For the price, this machine punches way above its weight.

Compact but mighty! I’ve rented larger excavators before, but owning this one is perfect for my landscaping jobs. I can maneuver in tight yards, dig trenches for irrigation, and even do light grading. The canopy is a nice touch too for sunny days.

This is my first excavator, and I was a little nervous, but the controls are intuitive and easy to learn. I’ve used it to clear brush, dig out a small pond, and even move heavy rocks around my property. Couldn’t be happier.
Benjamin –
Very solid build. The boom swing makes a huge difference when working near fences or buildings. I was skeptical at first, but after a few weeks of use, I can say this is a tough little machine. Runs like a champ.
Brandon –
Honestly, I wasn’t expecting this much power out of something in the ‘mini’ category. The digging depth is more than enough for most residential jobs. Maintenance is straightforward, and parts are easy to source thanks to the Kubota engine.
Carlos –
Great little machine. Perfect for small projects, and the Kubota motor gives me confidence in longevity. The only thing I’d improve is the seat comfort on long jobs—it gets a little stiff after a few hours.
Charles –
I use this mostly for trenching and light excavation around my orchard. It’s been reliable and fuel efficient. My only complaint is that the bucket it comes with is a bit narrow for some tasks, but overall, very happy.
Christopher –
Solid power and maneuverability in tight spaces. I was surprised by how easily it handles clay soil. Took off one star because the instruction manual could be clearer, but once you get the hang of it, it’s smooth sailing.
Daniel –
The machine works fine for light projects, but if you’re used to full-size excavators, this one can feel underpowered. It’s really best suited for small jobs. Still a good unit, just not for heavy commercial use.
David –
Good value, but I did run into a small hydraulic leak after the first month. Customer support was helpful and sent me parts quickly, but it was still an inconvenience. Works well now though.
Diego –
Decent for the price. The Kubota engine is reliable, but the canopy feels a little flimsy. It’s okay for shade, but I wouldn’t want to rely on it in heavy rain. I use it occasionally for landscaping and it does the trick.
